DREAMTEAM CUP
Once again, life imitates art. As Wycombe Wanderers marched into the Semi-Finals of the FA Cup, Billy's Boots, currently lying in 17th place, overcame the Sunday Stroolers to claim a place in the Dreamteam Cup Final.
Having dumped out Duck Utd in the previous round, Billy's Boots really are the giant killers of this year's competition. All that remains to be seen is whether or not they can go all the way and claim one final scalp...and that scalp belongs to the Luke Perry All-Stars, who narrowly beat in Supersonic FC in the other semi-final.
It could have all been so different - had Gary Rowett scored with his chance at the death of the Leicester City vs Wycombe Wanderers tie, it would have been they, and not Luke Perry, walking out at Cardiff in three weeks time. But, as they say, that's football...
