DREAMTEAM CUP
Strange, reality has a habit of mirroring, er, fantasy and so it proved in the Quarter Finals of the Dreamteam Cup.

Having entered the quarter-finals as red hot favourites to lift the trophy - and in doing so achieve the double - Duck Utd were hoping to avoid the fate of Manchester United but instead were unceremoniously dumped out of the competition by those casual upstarts, Billy's Boots. Spurred on by the ghostly influence of Hot Shot Keen, the Boots trounced the leaders of the Dreamteam league 32-15 to book a place in the last four.

They will be joined by Supersonic FC, conquerors of Athletico Salford, and Luke Perry All-Stars, who simply turned up, avoided getting booked and thus knocked out Freakin Last, who could only manage a very meagre 0...

Completing the line-up for the semi finals are the Sunday Stroolers, who saw off Bill S. Preston in impressive style.

The draw for the semis will be made later today...
