OH GOD, ASH IS TOP...

Third week in and we have our third leader. This week's its Ash's turn to be top of the class and he's confident that he can hold on to it, predicting that he'll become this year's Callum. But whereas we all grew to hate Ugly But Dangerous I think it's pretty safe to assume that we all hate Ash anyway. Although he has scored twice as many points as the bottom group of teams…which unfortunately includes my crappy team.

Yep, having taken the advice of, amongst others, Gary Delaney, I decided not to buy Michael Owen. And it shows. One goal between eleven players is hardly gonna set the world alight now is it. Thank god Fletch has put in a team much worse than mine…Those that did buy Michael Owen have reaped the rewards already with several teams scoring well this week. None more so then the Soft Centres. They currently have 73 points, 41 of which were scored by Owen.

Owen scores again. Bastard.
Lowest scorers of the week with four points were Birmingham Shitty and Villa Rejects - both coincidently managed by Dave - which saw them fall several places. His cause won't be helped by the sale of Tony Cottee to Norwich City. Highest scorer was Taste of the Raj with 57 points. A surprise this, as Nity rarely managed 57 points a month, let alone in one week, last time around.

Former leaders Sunday Stroolers have moved back up the table to second spot while last week's leaders Supersonic FC have dropped to fourth. The Luke Perry All-Stars are in third place for the third week running.

Other movers and shakers include Spakatak Toxteth, who climbed nine places to13th, and St. Reatham FC, who broke into the top with a score of 36.

Things are still pretty tight, but it looks like the bottom three clubs could be left behind if they don't get there acts together soon. Especially my team. Useless sods. Here's the table.
