SEASON 2000/2001 - RULES
For players selected from the DreamTeam list and in an accepted team entry the following points are awarded:-

1. Three points are awarded to any player given a mark of seven or more in The Sun/Supergoals individual ratings in Premiership, FA Cup, Worthington Cup, Champions League and UEFA Cup match reports.

2. A further five points are awarded to our Dream Team star man in every Premiership, FA Cup, Worthington Cup, Champions League and UEFA Cup game.

3. Five points are awarded for a goal scored in the Premiership, FA Cup, Worthington Cup, Champions League and UEFA Cup.

4. A player scoring a hat-trick gets five bonus points for a total of twenty points.

5. A goalkeeper or a defender who keeps a clean sheet in a Premiership, FA Cup, Worthington Cup, Champions League or UEFA Cup game scores five points. If they concede one goal, they score no points, two goals - 1, three goals, - 2 and so on.

6. Any player not picked scores no points, for every Premiership, FA Cup, Worthington Cup, Champions League and UEFA Cup game.

7. Any defender or keeper who comes on as a substitute scores points for a clean sheet or losses points for conceding goals as if they had played the whole game.

8. Any player who is booked loses a point; a player who is sent off loses three points; a player sent off for two bookings loses three points.

9. The player who scores the most points during the season earns a twenty point bonus.

10. There will be a mid season transfer window, when you can swap up to three players, providing you do not break any of the existing rules.

11. Transfer window details will be announced nearer the time.

12. If a Premiership player is transferred from one club to another, he continues to score points. For the purposes of the competition, he remains registered with his original club.

13. If a player is transferred out of the Premiership or retires his score is frozen.

14. Only Premiership players score points in the FA Cup, Worthington Cup, Champions League and UEFA Cup. Points are the same as Premiership games.
