DREAMTEAM CUP
The glory belongs to Billy's Boots. In an exciting, action-packed final, the lads from the AV Department came from behind to snatch victory from the Luke Perry All-Stars. Having seen off the challenges of League leaders Duck Utd and the Sunday Stroolers in previous rounds, they overcame the odds once again and produced a performance that defied their lowly league status.
It was touch and go, with the All-Stars edging it courtesy of two Arsenal goals, which hit Billy's Boots' Spurs defence hard but when the call came for that something extra, it was answered by Emile Heskey who thundered home the ball from six yards out having come off the subs bench only minutes before hand to sink Mr Stoker and his gallant band of sportsmen.
So the first honour of the season - and the first ever Dreamteam Cup - goes to Billy's Boots. Their prize? The left overs in the bank account - as determined by Gary...
Congratulations to the AV Dept on their stirring victory. For the rest of us, we'll just have to turn our dreams and attentions to next season...
